I apologize ahead of time for any bad language. That's just how much I hate this bill.

The fact that SOPA has made it as far as it has seriously pisses me off. If I go to jail for my art then so be it, I won't stop doing what I love and drawing what I want.

I just don't know how I'm going to explain to my little cousins that they can't draw their favorite cartoon or video game characters anymore. A lot of artists I know wouldn't be as amazing as they are today without being allowed to draw fan art, and I've always encouraged my little cousins to draw whatever they want to. I hate the fact they could be limited at such a young age.

I also can't comprehend why so many industries support it. I understand they are the industries that are losing money due to piracy, but they'll lose even more money when the websites they use to advertise are taken down. When they crumble, I will laugh.

Dear music industry. Go fuck yourself! Before the bill does it for you, that is. I wouldn't have over 900, legally obtained, songs on my iPod if I hadn't come across the music on youtube and decided I liked it. Sites like Youtube are the only reason anyone even knows about most of your music!

I like Disney, but currently they can shove it. If they want MY money they'll start making REAL animated movies again. None of that 3D crap. The way I see it THAT'S the real reason they're losing money. You can't complain until you begin producing decent movies and TV shows again Disney.

I foresee the downfall of many other industries that support this bill if it passes as well. However, these are the main ones that affect me.

*sigh* Well that's my little rant about the bill.

The last thing I have to say is: shame on you DevArt, for not having the balls to black out for 24 hours to protest SOPA!
